All the legalities of insurance claims often build up to a hefty legal cost. Freight, Demurrage and Defense (FD&D) cover protects clients from costs when dealing with legal matters, either when they make insurance claims or defend against them. It also helps resolves contract related conflicts, such as those caused for ship’s employment, supply of crew, services as well as equipment. FD&D also ensures that in those cases where our clients have club support, in case they lose, the opponent’s recoverable costs are covered by their club.
