Charterer’s Liability
There are many kinds of liabilities that an operator can incur when chartering a ship. Charterers Liability Insurance covers damage to the vessel, death and personal injury, wreck removal, collision, pollution, damage to property of third parties, damage to cargo, fines, sue and labour cost.
The premiums are calculated on the GRT of the vessel, on the type of activity of each Charterer. In every case it is necessary to make a complete company profile and analysis before conditions and rates can be quoted.
